Privacy Policy – EQUILOFT GmbH

This privacy policy explains how EQUILOFT GmbH collects, processes and protects personal data when You use our training offers, consultations, massages or website. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). A separate patient privacy notice applies to physiotherapy services prescribed by a doctor.

2. Data We Collect and Process
We process only data that You provide when contacting us (by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp or in person) or when booking. This includes:
- Master data: surname, first name, date of birth, address.
- Contact data: telephone number, email address.
- Contract and billing data: booked subscription, payment status (e.g. TWINT, cash payment, bank transfer), attended lessons.
- Health data: information about physical complaints, injuries, pregnancy or illnesses that You provide as part of Your personal responsibility and duty to inform us, so safe training or massage can be ensured.
3. Purpose of Processing
Your data is used for the following purposes:
- To fulfill our contracts, meaning to organize and provide trainings, massages and consultations as well as coordinate appointments.
- For proper invoicing and bookkeeping.
- To protect Your health by adapting training or massage to Your physical requirements.
4. Disclosure to Third Parties
Your personal data is treated confidentially and is generally not passed on to third parties. Exceptions are service providers who support operations and are likewise bound by Swiss data protection requirements, such as banking, accounting or IT providers.
5. Retention Period
We keep Your data only as long as required for contract fulfillment or legal retention obligations, usually 10 years for accounting records and business documents in Switzerland. Afterwards, data is deleted.
6. Your Rights
Under data protection law, You have the right at any time to:
- Request information about the data we store.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of Your data, unless a statutory retention obligation, such as bookkeeping obligations, prevents this.
- Object to the processing of Your data.
